A word from Larry Reddmann
In 1890, my great-grandfather settled in Poinsett
County, Arkansas, and established a farming operation within an untamed
landscape. He earned a reputation for hard work and integrity, “If its worth doing, it's worth doing right”
was the attitude that he instilled in his family. Each generation since
has followed in the family farming tradition and successfully expanded
the small section of land he carved out of the forest over a century
ago.
Based upon that tradition, another Reddmann generation
is charting a new course in agriculture, by diversifying our family
operation and establishing a tree farm and nursery operation that we
believe, future Reddmann generations will preserve.
At
the time my great-grandfather came to Poinsett County in 1890, the area
was almost entirely covered by deciduous hardwood forests. What remain
now are pockets of trees being encroached upon by ever-increasing
agricultural expansion. Our goal at Lawrence Reddmann Farms is to give
something back to the land and the environment, by producing high
quality, genetically superior trees that will enhance the beauty of any
landscape.
Our family hopes that you and the
generations that follow will enjoy owning these trees as much as we do
growing them. Please feel free to call me anytime about your tree
requirements. Better yet, visit our farm to see the trees for yourself.
Thank you for choosing Lawrence Reddmann Farms!
